These are diagrams which break down the site mapping studies below.
These are my initial responses to site. I have been studying the movement around the island where my site is, in terms of boats and the movement of the gates, locks and bridges. This led to me producing a drawing studying the temporal nature of the site - as if it were itself a prosthetic.
These are the 6 priority drawings I have done for my current project, HALFWAY HOME. The brief I have written is for a residential boat-building workshop for ex-servicemen. Looking at the writings of Henri Lefebvre, the field of aquatic architecture and drawing on my interests from my final second year project in Morecambe, I am enjoying the initial stages of this final project of my undergraduate studies.
It’s been a while….
After a fairly long break, I am back Tumblr!
Imagination HQ, Store Street London.
A covered street making Imaginations HQ designed by Ron Herron ex of Archigram - a interesting coincidence given the Professor at Barlett School of Architecture being Peter Cook and my tutor being Christine Hawley, both also ex Archigram.
